A quieter way to manage wealth
Velanthor was founded on a simple observation: most investors lose more to frequent trading, fees, and emotional decisions than they ever do to market downturns. We built a systematic approach designed to remove those costs from the equation.
Rather than chasing trends or reacting to headlines, we favour a disciplined, rules-based process that is reviewed periodically and left to run. It's a less exciting story than most of the investment industry tells, but we think it's a more honest one.
Our History
Why we started Velanthor
We came to this work from the same place many of our clients do: frustration with managed accounts that charged high fees regardless of performance, and with self-directed platforms that encouraged constant activity.
The early version of Velanthor was built as an internal tool, a way to apply consistent, pre-defined rules to portfolio decisions instead of relying on daily judgment calls. Over time, that tool became the basis for the service we offer today.
What hasn't changed is the underlying philosophy: good outcomes come from sound structure, not constant intervention. We've kept the model simple on purpose, because simple systems are easier to understand, explain, and trust.
